From Series: "A Simple Christmas"
For many of us, John 3:16 is not only the greatest message in all the world, it is also a most familiar message. I’m sure most of us can quote it from memory. This Christmas I want to celebrate A Simple Christmas, which means we must remember the simplicity of the story. There is nothing simpler than exploring one verse over the entire Christmas season. One verse. One story. One simple Christmas. Join us every Sunday in December as we explore the most familiar text in the Bible. Or is it? When Tim Tebow, the former Denver Broncos quarterback, who is famous for sporting “John 3:16” on his eye black, led his team in the playoffs, they tell us that 94 million people went to the internet to look up “John 3:16.” So even though many of us are very familiar with this verse, evidently not everyone knows it. Let’s dig deep into this text and explore the simple message of Christmas.
